Initial Commit

My first, hopefully serious article. I have written a few of these in the past and started blogs that withered away before they even began. But I feel different about this one. I have a plan, a vision, and a goal. I want to write about things that interest me and share my thoughts with the world. I want to learn and grow. I want to be a better writer, and I want to be a better person.

Tech and Lemonades 😊

A good place to start would be to discuss where the title comes from. This way, I hope to introduce myself.

“Tech” because, as you may have read in the previous page, is the career path I have chosen. I got into it pretty effortlessly and have somehow managed to make continuous impacts, and mistakes. Despite many things in life working out and others failing, tech has been my constant.

“Lemonades” for two reasons. One, it comes from the saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” I will be discussing aspects of my life every few articles, and I hope to share how I have made lemonade out of the lemons life has thrown at me. Second, lemonades are my healthy replacement for alcohol, which I am trying to quit. I have been sober for a few months now, and I hope to keep it that way.

Lately, I have been thinking a lot about death. Not in a morbid way, but in a way that makes me appreciate life more. I have been lucky to have a good career and experiences worth learning from. The internet never forgets, and that’s a good thing. For my mistakes, we can learn from them. For my successes, we can celebrate them. For my career mentors, I will pay them forward.
